1. This code page is the same as the International Reference Version (IRV) Code Page in ISO 646 dated 1983. It is known in CCITT recommendations as 'Visable String' and along with a complete C0 set of control characters is known as International Alphabet 5 or IA5. 2. Note that ISO 646-1991 changed the IRV by allocating the dollar sign rather than the international currency symbol to location x'24'. So ISO 646-1991 IRV is identical to US ASCII IBM code page 367. |
