A8 reaches financial close

Hochtief and Strabag have reached financial close on the German A8 road upgrade PPP deal. Banks funding the €155m financing were financial adviser Unicredit, BBVA and the two development banks of Baveria and Baden-Wurtthemberg though which the A8 passes. The deal involves some heavy goods vehicle traffic risk under the A model style contract.
