Ghostfox is a simple extension that allows you to hide your browser window whenever you might not want someone looking over your shoulder at it. Click the icon in the status bar, and it removes Firefox from the task bar and makes the window completely disappear. When you want to see it again, perform a simple mouse gesture (left of screen, right of screen, and back left) and Firefox appears embedded in the currently focused window. Click the icon in the status bar again, and Firefox is restored to normal mode.

Developer Comments
Ghostfox is currently in the process of being adopted by a new developer. Please be patient while this transition takes place. The project is being entirely reviewed, and I am certain that many changes will be made as we move forward.
CRITICAL UPDATE: A new version (version 0.2.1.0) has been released as a critical update. All users of ghostfox MUST download this new version ASAP! It will be a while before the extension gets updated here. However Ghostfox 0.2.1.0 is currently available for download at http://ghostfox.mozdev.org/
Please read the FAQ page available at http://ghostfox.mozdev.org/faq.html before posting a comment/review here.
Rendering pages in greyscale and not showing images, are part of the functionality of the extension and NOT a bug. If you experience problems with using the extension please post about it at http://ghostfox.mozdev.org/notes.html
IMPORTANT: Neither this extension or the creator of it are in anyway associated with http://ghostfox.googlecode.com/. This google code project is NOT authorised in any way by me. Obtain ghostfox ONLY from here or from http://ghostfox.mozdev.org/
Ghostfox is currently incompatible with firetitle and firesomething.
