Skyfire Labs Inc. has announced that it is expanding availability of its PC Web experience mobile browser to Canada. It is claimed to enable users to watch live sports or use music and video services that they enjoy on their PCs, as a free download at Skyfire's website. According to the company, its PC Web experience supports all Web 2.0 technologies including full Flash, Ajax, Quicktime and more. Skyfire has been bringing the full PC Web to the US users on the go since launching in February of 2008. Now with Skyfire, Canadians will be able to access the same web that they usually see from a desktop right on their Windows Mobile or Symbian S60 Smartphones.

Skyfire Labs Inc. has tapped Adam Sexton as chief marketing officer. He served in the same role at Groove Mobile.

Skyfire Labs Inc. appointed Adam Sexton as new Chief Marketing Officer. Adam Sexton joins the Skyfire executive staff with more than 16 years of experience in marketing and management in the music and technology industries. Skyfire most recently made news with the addition of Mike Rowehl, who last month joined Skyfire as Scalability Architect.
