Question: Facebook Photo Issues- "This webpage has a redirect loop." Report abuse

Whenever I try to view a Facebook Photo (Whether in an album or not), I am redirected to this page, with the following message:

"This webpage has a redirect loop.

The webpage at http://www.facebook.com/album.php?id=xxxxxxxxx&aid=xxxxx has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer."

I've cleared the cookies, yet I still get the same result. Is this happening to anyone else? Is there a way to fix this?

(I used FireFox, and it worked just fine, so I have a feeling it's an issue of Chrome-Facebook compatibility.)

Yep its started working a couple of hours ago! Somehow I think it was a Facebook issue and nothing to do with the browsers themselves.

Hi From Friday I have a big problem with facebook.com, I can't see the pics.. with Firefox I only get a message:

Redirect Loop
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for
this address in a way that will never complete.
The browser has stopped trying to retrieve the requested item. The
site is redirecting the request in a way that will never complete.

I tried also with other browsers and other PCs or also with other OS (like Ubuntu) but i always get the same message or somethings like it!
If i try with other accounts everythings is ok, but i can't go on the profile of my account it bring me back to the account's home of the profile that i'm using..
I deleted everything on the browser cookies,cache.... but is still not working, i can't see just the pics in the album, because i know that i can see the videos..

I also sended an email to [email protected] to explain my problem!

My redirect issues occur with Google Calendar and Gmail. Calendar is in a separate window whereas Gmail is running through a gadget. I'm wondering if removing and reinstalling these items as well as Chrome would fix anything? I have failures on both programs in MSIE as well. However, my wife just down the hall is running on my network as has no problems. That indicates a problem just on my PC. Anyone got any help?

I've started to encounter the "The site is redirecting the request in a way that will never complete." dialog as well when trying to get into my Google Calendars using FireFox, given the previous posts I won't go round the different browsers computers merry-go-round. Coincidentally, standing in my room is a computer consultant who works with (Apache) web servers doing development work and his take on the message is that there's a server problem (Google's end) due to some site work, and patience should be the practice to follow, as the problem will come good eventually. This was after checking FireFox's config settings. So if you encounter this problem, be patient, don't mess with any of your settings and find something else to do (cuppa T or Solitaire?)

I've not encountered such an error. Hmm kinda weird. But you had better install new releases soon. Maybe it works out.
