What's New in AOL Explorer 1.5

		Create Desktop Widgets from Panels Your favorite Side Panels can now be "torn off" and used independently of the AOL Explorer experience - on your computer, on your desktop, wherever. The panel will remain open and functional as long as you choose: even after you close AOL Explorer. To create a Desktop Widget for a Panel, simple open the panel and click on the small "arrow" icon in the Panel's Titlebar.
		Visual Themes Want a new look for AOL Explorer? Use the Themes Chooser to select one of many original themes to customize the look of your AOL Explorer. To choose a Theme, go to your Tools Menu and choose Themes.... Click on a theme, then click Save to update your browser.
		Feeds Screensaver Now you can view all of the RSS Feeds you have in your AOL Explorer Feeds Panel as a screensaver. Keep an eye on the latest information from across the room. The screensaver is not installed by default. To install the screensaver, open your AOL Explorer Feeds Panel and click on the "Install Feeds Screensaver" button.
		Show Page Preview with Ctrl + Right-Click If you want to see a preview of a webpage without leaving the current page, you can hold the Control key ("Ctrl") down and click your right mouse button to view a preview. It takes a bit to get used to this, but it is especially useful when you see a big list of links on a page (think: search results). To show the Preview, place your mouse over a "http" link (other link-types are not supported for security reasons). Press the Ctrl key on your keyboard and click your right mouse button. Note: javascript, frames, and java applets are all disabled on the preview for your protection.
		Performance Improvements The Software Engineer Team has worked very hard to make improvements in AOL Explorer's start-up times as well as "responsiveness" times (for example, the UI response rate when you type into the URL input field). We understand that speed matters when you are using a browser.

What's New in AOL Explorer 1.2

		RSS Widgets See the little Feeds icon next to some of your Favorite Places in the Favorites Panel? Click on it, and you will see an "RSS Widget." This widget can be moved around anywhere on your screen, and it floats to allow you to always check your latest headlines. You can also click the Minimize button on the RSS Widget to turn it into a horizontal ticker. To see a Feed, open your Favorites Panel and click on the Feed icon next to some of your Favorites. Drag the widget around on your desktop. The widgets you create will disappear when you close AOL Explorer.
		Tab Explorer (F8 Key) Tab Explorer allows you to see thumbnails of all of the currently open tabs at once. After clicking on a thumbnail in Tab Explorer, you can also navigate through each tab's history in the History Timeline at the bottom of your screen. To see Tab Explorer, press F8 on your keyboard or click on the Tab Explorer icon in the upper-right of the window. Clicking once on a tab thumbnail will show the History Timeline on the bottom of the screen. Double-clicking on a tab thumbnail will bring that tab into focus.
		Portable Favorites AOL Explorer can transfer your favorite website links from IE, and lets you access them from a Portable Favorites Folder. This way, you can tap into your favorite sites on any machine using your AOL or AIM Screen name by simply going to http://favorites.aol.com To add a Favorite to your Portable Favorites, simply put any new or existing folders into the folder called, "Portable Favorites." If you are not already signed into AIM or AOL, you will be prompted to authenticate.
		New UI Toolkit This version of AOL Explorer has moved to the new "Boxely" User Interface (UI) Toolkit. Using Boxely allows us to do fun and exciting visuals to give you a great experience while using AOL Explorer.

What's New in AOL Explorer 1.1

		Everything! This is the first version of AOL Explorer! This is a browser based on Microsoft's Internet Explorer, but includes Tabbed Browsing, an RSS Panel, and the ability to load multiple sites when you start your browser.
		Tabbed Browsing AOL Explorer attaches easy-to-see tabs to browser windows so you can find -- and get-to -- the window you want in a snap. It lets you "keep tabs" on your Internet experience. You can keep multiple webpages open in one window.
		Spyware Quick Scan Lots of Spyware gets onto your computer from downloading files from the web. Each time you start AOL Explorer, Spyware Quick Scan checks your computer for a limited number of spyware and adware offenders that may cause connection problems, performance issues, security risks, or otherwise interfere with your AOL online experience.
		RSS Detection and Feeds Panel Many websites now have "RSS" Feeds associated with that site. The Feed is a small summary of that site (headlines, clippings, etc). If you visit a webpage that has an associated Feed, you will see a small "Feeds" icon in the URL bar. Clicking on that icon will add that RSS Feed to the Feeds Panel. You can add, remove, and reorder your Feeds in the Feeds
		Power Browsing Ever find yourself looking at a website and wanting to change how the page looks? With AOL Explorer's Power Browsing, you can change the look of a page after it loads to make it easier to read, to find links on the page, or to just have fun with the page. You can even make your own with javascript! To use Power Browsing on a webpage, just go to your Tools Menu (or right-click on the page) and choose a Power Browsing Menu item. Note: some Power Browsing utilities do not work well on pages with frames or activeX content.
