  • Recently our Disability.Inc. Manager, Kinny Chinangwa chaired his first Bristol Equality Network Meeting which was attended by various organisations from different sectors in Bristol who come together to share best practice within equality. During the meeting we had guests from the organisation Talk Club who presented their services towards improving mental health by providing training and support groups for businesses. Ali Browning and Anthony Hearn from our Disability.Inc. team also presented on our WorkASSURED service which provides in work support for Disabled staff and their managers. "Thank you for inviting myself and Anthony and giving us the opportunity to talk about workASSURED and how we can work with businesses to support their Disabled staff, it was an excellent engaging, informative meeting" Ali Browning

The conversation was started at our Inclusive Futures Event in April and this week we have a name and strapline; 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆. 𝗜𝗻𝗰'𝘀. As a User Led Organisation it is important that any new services are co-designed with our users, having our partners and business contacts feedback and comment on this proposed new service is really important to us and an outline of what the scheme would cost and include has been shared for further feedback. Watch this space for further updates. #WECIL #IndependentLiving #DisabilityInclusion #DiversityandInclusion #AccessibleSociety #DisabilityRights #InclusiveWorkplace #AccessForAll #InclusiveFutures #IncorporatingInclusivity
