The Scottish Parliament has agreed the appointment of Gillian Martin as Acting Cabinet Secretary for Net Zero and Energy. The current Minister for Climate Action will take on the Net Zero and Energy portfolio from 1 July to cover Màiri McAllan's maternity leave. Ms Martin's appointment is subject to approval by His Majesty The King.
