It’s almost D&AD time again…and an excuse to share the work we did for D&AD Shift - their free industry led night school for self taught creatives from underrepresented communities without a degree. The initiative was created as a direct challenge to the status quo of creative role pathways and recruitment in the Design & Advertising industry. The programme is not just about getting Shifters into the industry but creating the conditions necessary for them to thrive as future leaders, ultimately helping agencies make better, more inclusive, more effective work. 💚 Currently running in London, New York, Sydney, Berlin/Hamburg and São Paulo, we created a global platform and comms strategy, #ShiftCreativity - telling the stories of the Shifters that have been through the programme, raising awareness within the creative industries to support in securing employment, whilst also driving new awareness with harder to reach talent that could massively benefit from the opportunity to apply. ⭐️ Case study here: https://lnkd.in/eUq_jNKE   #platform13_ 🔋

WORK: Gutted to hear about the permanent closure of the beautiful Vans Covent Garden, London Boutique - 1 of only 2 in the world at the time, focused on the creative community. 💚 We launched the store in 2019, including supporting on special permanent installions and rotating windows & instore artwork, store signage (image: artist credit - Alex May Hughes) and curated products. We led and activated a year long IRL cultural programme and creative production in their basement - bringing back the iconic KKOutlet for a 3 month residency and a series of takeovers with a variety of relevant creative and cultural voices.
