It's time for better wine🍷

About us

Where the world’s best winemakers make their best wine At Naked, we do wine differently. Instead of pushing suppliers on price, we fund our winemakers up front - helped by our Angels - so they’re free to focus on what they’re passionate about. Without the traditional wine industry costs, we make great savings, which we’re able to pass on. That means our winemakers are paid fairly and our Angels enjoy top-notch wine at prices that are typically 33% less than the high street. It’s a win-win.

Thanks to the Naked Wines community of customers, winemakers, staff and partners, we’re on course to raise an amazing £481,261 for #CarmensKids. This will provide more than 19,250 children across Stellenbosch with over 7 million school meals over the next 12 months 💙 Thank you to every single person who chipped in over the last few weeks. You really are amazing. If you haven't donated yet, but you'd like to, our JustGiving page will be open to donations all year round (link in comments). Every extra penny raised throughout the year will put even bigger smiles on those children’s faces. So do feel free to forward it to anyone you know with a big heart and a full belly.

The Naked Wines Community has raised over £284,000 to help feed hungry school children in South Africa. It's great news and gives Winemaker, Carmen Stevens the opportunity to support SO many little humans. But.. we're still £184,625 shy of the amount raised last year. In 2023, the funds raised meant 25,000 children would be happier and well fed for a whole school year. And we really need your help to support the same number of kids 🙏 Just 13p will feed a child for a day, and less than the cost of a meal deal (£2.50), will feed them for a whole month. So all donations, big or small, will make a huge difference. If you can spare a few bob, even the price of a sandwich, just click the link below. Ways to donate👇 You can donate from £2.50 by visiting our JustGiving page: https://lnkd.in/e8_8r9Yq Or, if you are a Naked Wines UK customer, you can donate by heading to https://lnkd.in/eXQfBvf Thank you.

There are so many incredibly talented and inspirational women making wines for us across the globe. Like Toby, today we want to thank all of our trail-blazing female winemakers who are inspiring the next generation 💙

Pardon the soppy dad moment… Something occurred to me this week when I was talking to one of our women winemakers. As parents, we think everyday about the way we're raising our kids. Our biggest worry is making sure they grow up happy and loved. And that when they grow up, they go on to achieve their dreams, whatever they may be. I feel lucky that my little girls are at least growing up in a world today where they get to see incredible women achieving incredible things in all walks of life. Which wasn't always the case. If one of them tells me they want to be an astronaut, a doctor or (dare I say it?) a winemaker… I know that if they work hard enough, they can achieve anything they want. That said, I know there are still many challenges women face today that I couldn’t even begin to comprehend. That's not a dig at us boys, just a fact. So today, I wanted to raise a glass to all our incredible trail-blazing women winemakers who, as well as making some of the most delicious wines you’ll ever taste, are paving the way for more women to follow their winemaking dreams in the future. If my daughters turn out anything like the women I get to work with as part of our Naked Wines family… I’ll be able to rest easy knowing I’ve done my job So here’s to you, ladies. Thank you for being a role model for young girls everywhere. #internationalwomensday #womeninwine #inspireinclusion

Did you know that just 3.5% of equity investment goes to female-founded startups? The start-up / scale-up world is tough, and even tougher if you’re female. It’s infuriating. That hasn’t stopped these trailblazers: 1. Jodie Teare. Founder of Lullaloop. Created the perfect solution to one of my personal and biggest parental guilts - what to do with outgrown children's clothes. A beautiful and practical bundle of clothes to rent for a few months, to switch up to the next size and new designs when they get too small. Simple, effective, genius. 2. Lydia Gregory. Founder of Figaro.ai. Took her passion for music and combined it with AI (before we had ever heard of it) to create an intuitive search engine for music. 3. Laura Riches and Laura Rosenberger. Co-founders of Laylo. Ex-Naked staffers. They’ve taken all they know and love about the wine world, and channelled it into everything boxed. If Laylo is good enough for Downing Street… 4. Alexandra Rico-Lloyd. Founder of Bike Club. Another business model that makes so much sense you wonder why it hadn’t been done before. Subscription bikes for kids. Reducing waste AND reducing parent spend. Of course it’s flying. 5. Ellie Hunt. Founder of @hawksburyhuntflowers. Established her own wildly successful flower farm whilst raising two kids under three. A true force of nature. Some of these are friends, some are people I admire from afar, but all are inspirational. If you do one thing today, support a female founded business. It’s tough out there. They need you #internationalwomensday #equityfundinggap

Naked Wines wins the Top Customer Experience award at #allstarbash2024. At Naked Wines, they do wine differently. Back in 2012, they set out to make the world a better place for wine drinkers. A world where the only wine you ever drank was lovingly created by insanely talented independent winemakers. Where the quality of every bottle was guaranteed top notch but you didn't pay crazy prices. And a Hassle-free Guarantee meant you could always buy with complete confidence. Congratulations to Jackie Brian and the entire Naked Wines team!
