Over the last two weeks, Metro.co.uk's Film & Entertainment reporter Tori Brazier attended the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival for some on-the-ground reporting. In 12 days of glamorous chaos, Tori saw and wrote about 11 of the most anticipated films, attended nine press conferences, sat in on two talks with honorary Palme d’Or recipients, Meryl Streep and George Lucas – and even popped up on Canadian radio to chat about Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. While battling 16-hour days between the early morning screenings and late-night premieres, her incredible reporting resulted in 20 online stories and coverage in the paper, with Francis Ford Coppola’s Megalopolis being the big breakout movie for our audience this year.
