A journey through the Poetry of Time, an exhibition of visual storytelling by Van Cleef & Arpels showcases the luxury jewellers exquisite craftsmanship, heritage and horology (measurement of time). We were dazzled by interactive displays and were able to see the detail of the brands enamelling artistry and precious stones which told the story of the brands evolution from its first watch in 1906. Last night, Elite's Temp & Perm UK Retail Teams were invited to celebrate WOLF's 190th anniversary. 5th generation of the Wolf Family and current CEO Simon Wolf, took us back in time, explaining the brand's heritage, craftsmanship and history, including the larger than life size jewellery box. We were treated to 190th anniversary collection cocktails under the names of Wolf's signature pieces, Ballet, Silver, Ida, Phillip and Earth. The black tie gala was hosted at the stunning Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London, which was tinted blue as a nod to the luxury brand jewellery and watch box maker. Their latest collection, Thorn, is inspired by the queer occultist artist Rosaleen Norton, who was a notorious underground figure dubbed "The Witch of Kings Cross" in the 1950s.
