Paid Media Manager @ Shaka Social ✨🚀⚡️

Leveraging a viral moment on social👇🏻 The 🍅 Ketchup Guy 🍅 aka Liam, co-founder of Dr Will’s, featured in a Khan “what do you do for a living?” video that reached over 650k people. Liam then created a TikTok account and posted a stitch which reached over 800k. That’s when they got in touch with Shaka Social. Here’s what we did in our first month working with them: 🎬 Trip to London to film paid social content (see one of our videos below) 📈 90% increase in followers at 32p a follower 🍔 Generated sales across the UK demonstrating TikTok Shop as a viable revenue stream We can’t wait to keep building on this with the lovely team at Dr Will’s.

    Global Brand and Marketing Manager

I’ve recently finished the book 'Ultra-Processed People' by Chris Van Tulleken, and it's reshaping how I do the food shop. Now, I'm all about scrutinising those ingredients lists, and some products have really opened my mind. Shout out to the great brands championing real food – your dedication deserves a round of applause! Some favourites include: 1. Deliciously Ella – A pioneer for real plant food and cultivating positive change. Ella, the Founder, is a woman on a mission who I have the upmost respect for #girlboss. The nut butter bites and oat bars are among many favourites of mine. 2. bionatural – Organic and sustainably sourced (music to my ears), they are the best in the biz for cupboard staples such as tinned coconut milk with no added nasties. 3. Gosh! Food Ltd - Oh my Gosh! The falafels and pakoras are great on their own or in wraps, in salads… you name it. 4. Ecotone Kallo - The beetroot and balsamic vinegar rice cakes are a recent favourite snack, so good! 5. Dr. Will's – This brand has just absolutely nailed the healthy condiments category, bravo. I might get some eye rolls from colleagues and my husband (who I will say is benefiting from a very healthy cupboard at home), but I am truly passionate about this topic. I’m always looking to try new brands in this category, so please do send your recommendations my way. Let's share the love for what we're passionate about. #realfood #nonultraprocesedfood #nonUPF #RealFoodRevolution #passionate

We’re powering through the last month of the year, gearing up for some big plans in 2024 👀 We’re fuelling our efforts with festive songs and sugar (Alex is our cheer co-ordinator, we think she might turn into a chocolate coin before long). But before we step too far into Christmas, let's take a quick look back at November because the Good Rewards Community achieved some pretty awesome stuff. 🌳Unplugged launched their first 3 person cabin, Luna  🥇allplants won gold for their packaging design.  🧑🎄Ocean Bottle launched chrimbo collection, have you spotted the new red? 🥑Dr. Will's launched their avocado sriracha in Tesco! - also available on their website! 🤝TOTM launched in Coop 🇺🇸MOTH Drinks - B Corp™ launched in murica Plus, we know we are 5 days into advent, but if you still need a calendar, LoveRaw®, Pact Coffee and Scrumbles have really great ones. Our users also smashed it in November - we can’t wait to see what December will bring 💪 #Startup #Marketing #SMEs #GoodBrands #BetterBusiness #TheGoodRewardsCommunity

Whether you call it ketchup or red sauce - you're gonna be happy about this one. Dr. Will's are now officially on the Raze app 📱 Dr Will is actually a real person who saw a real problem with the sauces that are a staple in most people’s cupboards (or fridge depending on what side of the fence you’re on 👀) So he set off on a mission to make a better sauce and he’s only gone and done it. Dr Will’s sauces are all naturally sweetened using real ingredients like dates, tomatoes and apples. Meaning you can smother those chips with reckless abandon and not have to worry so much about how much sugar you're consuming 🍟 Not only are Dr Will’s committed to natural and simple ingredients lists, but they are also a B Corp UK. They are committed to making sure they have a minimal impact on the environment by using closed loop recycling systems, conscious packaging choices and providing recycling instructions on their website. Dr Will’s are quite simply here to help you enjoy the food you want without adding the junk you don't. So off you pop to the Raze app to grab a Dr Will's bag + voucher 🛍️ #CarryEarnSpend #TheGoodRewardsCommunity #advertising #betterbusiness #goodbrand

How to win customers from big brands 👇 This week's The Outliers Newsletter featured Dr. Will's and their fight against the condiment giants. Dr. Will's makes great tasting, naturally sweetened condiments. The idea stemmed from a story founder Dr. Will was told about parents having to add sugary ketchup to get their children to eat their vegetables. Dr Will’s was born to make condiments that made food better, not unhealthy. But the condiments industry is a tough place to be. You’re going up against childhood memories and a go-to option that’s become more of a habit than a choice for many. “We have had to overcome some pretty ingrained and strong feelings to get people to buy our stuff. But with a great product and mission, it's not impossible.” — Dr Will Changing behaviours like that is HARD but not impossible. And Dr Will’s have certainly found a route to success. They’ve done 4 things exceptionally well that, from an outside perspective, I think have played into their winning formula: 👉 They REALLY got to know their audience. Understanding what they like about the current options, what worries them and what they’re willing to compromise on gave Dr Will’s insight for both developing and marketing their product. 👉 They built the brand around Dr Will. A smart move. Having a doctor as the founder is not something that should be kept quiet and Dr Will’s have used this story brilliantly. Dr Will appears in a lot of their content helping to build trust and authenticity for the brand. 👉 Found a way to standout on the shelves. All of their competitors at the time looked the same, so they found a way to standout visually with their branding and get people thinking. 👉 Made the switch appealing through great content. Their content is educational (why the high sugar content in current options is bad) AND fun — recipes, contests and humour based content help add personality and more trust to the brand. All in all, they’ve created a product AND brand that convinces people to confront their habits and try something that’s a hell of a lot better for them! Great work Dr Will Breakey, Josh Rose and team! 🍅🍅🍅 🔗 Link to the full story & actionable tips in the comments 😏 📧 Sign up for stories like this in your inbox each week — link in comments. #digitalmarketing #growthmarketing #startupgrowth

🤝 As part of the single-use plastics ban on October 1st, we’ve teamed up with Hackney, Camden, Westminster and Lambeth Councils to tackle their blue plastic nightmare across London Markets 🤝 Our partnership leverages advertising in a way that simultaneously gives back to the community and tackles single-use plastics. And while each council is encouraging people to start bringing their own bag on market days, Raze bags will be there for those who forget! 🛍️  🚀 This also provides forward-thinking brands with an incredible low-cost out-of-home advertising opportunity, where brands can reach consumers in a creative new way that contributes to shopping experiences, rather than interrupts them 🚀 We can’t wait to watch this partnership take off, and we’ll be at the following markets on these days if you’d like to come and say hi: 🗓️Chalton Street Market on 29/09/23 🗓️Broadway Market on 01/10/23 🗓️Inverness Street Market on 6/10/23 👋 Come say hello - and grab yourself some goodies from our pals simply roasted crisps TOTM Scrumbles Toast Ale and Dr. Will's while you’re at it! 😋 https://lnkd.in/eCuSk2Gq #plastics #sustainability #startups #london #councils #innovation #oohadvertising #advertising
