A hospital group with a mission to make healthcare better for patients.

About us

Circle Health Group is the UK’s largest private hospital group, with more than 50 locations nationwide. We combine clinical excellence with peaceful surroundings, where patients are always treated as individuals. People are at the heart of everything we do – whether that’s our talented, passionate staff or the people they care for. Patients always come first, and when it comes to looking after you, being ‘good enough’ never is. We are investing millions of pounds into making our hospitals the best they can be. This funding is boosting our facilities and technology, as well as nurturing the amazing people who work for us. The investment programme saw us named Private Hospital Group of the Year in 2021. In 2021 Circle was featured in Health & Social Care’s 20 Best Companies to Work For, and also placed in the Top 25 Best Big Companies to work for. Since 2019 we have held the Silver Award in The Ministry of Defence's Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme. We offer more than 500 different treatments across 60 specialties, and work with a network of over 6,000 renowned consultants. When you choose to go private with us, we’ll take the time to get to know you and your individual needs, building a bespoke treatment plan that puts you front and centre. Each year we welcome around 296,000 inpatients and 1.7 million outpatients. They trust us to provide the quality, expert-led treatment they deserve. And with 98% of them saying they’ll recommend us to their loved ones, it’s clear we do just that. If you need treatment and you want to speak to a specialist, we’re here for you. Get in touch today and we aim to see you within 48 hours. Alternatively, if you are looking to join a dynamic team in a supportive environment, why not take a look at our extensive range of roles in clinical and non-clinical settings? Get in touch today!

We’re proud to share the inspiring story of Carly, a valued member of The Duchy Hospital since November 2022. “The whole ethos of the company is what drew me to working for CHG in the first place – the agile and brave, good enough never is, patients come first are the values and philosophies that stood out to me initially and continue to do so to this day.” said Carly. In April, Carly’s partner suffered a heart attack and subsequent cardiac arrest due to an infection. During this challenging time, the support Carly received from the Duchy Hospital Senior Management Team and her colleagues was nothing short of extraordinary. They showed immense empathy, compassion, and kindness, providing Carly with the time and emotional support she needed. “They allowed me time off to be with my fiancee during what has been an incredibly overwhelming few weeks, they have been there to comfort me and have constantly checked in on my welfare as well as that of my partner’s and my children. “ she continues. Upon her return to work, Carly was greeted with open arms, warm hugs, and words of affection from not only the Senior Management Team but also our Leadership team and colleagues across the hospital. “So many people have asked after me and my partner and shown true kindness and care – it really has illustrated to me what an utterly fantastic organisation I work for and one I hope to continue to work for a very long time.” Here at Circle Health Group we’re more than just a workplace - we’re a community that cares for each other. We wish Carly and her partner all the best for the future. [Images description. Happy Wednesday! Last month The Beaumont Hospital launched their Wellbeing Group, an initiative by the Quality and Risk Manager, Helen. The aim is to provide monthly activities and events that cater to a wide range of interests, promoting relaxation, learning, and overall wellbeing. Their inaugural event, the smoothie bike, was very successful, providing a fun and healthy break from the daily routine. Their next event will be Reiki with a local therapist. Stay tuned for more exciting activities. [Image description. Image 1: office room decorated with blue and white balloons, featuring a wooden desk, computers, and a bright green and orange bicycle. Massive congratulations to Rachel Greener, Patient Administrator at Mount Alvernia Hospital, who's just completed her 20th marathon. As if that wasn't enough, this marathon covered a route along the Great Wall of China in 35 degree heat, up and down numerous hills and via many villages, covering 5,164 steps. Rachel smashed it! She completed the run in 7 hours, 2 minutes, coming second in her age group. How incredibly proud we all are! She's raised over £1,800 for Macmillan Cancer Support already but is still accepting donations. An enormous well done, Rachel! These set of wheels at The Alexandra Hospital keep on bringing joy to our young visitors. Coopers mum said "Cooper was so excited to get to the hospital and have his operation so he could ride the quad bike to theatre. This little touch for children is fantastic. It made the whole experience for him and us much more enjoyable because he was so relaxed thinking about what he was getting to do rather than anxious and worrying about what was going to happen." We are thrilled that we are able to provide our young patients with such a positive experience during what can be an anxious time. Meet Leo the Lion at The Saxon Clinic! If you’re visiting with your little ones, they might just be lucky enough to meet our friendly mascot, Leo. He’s here to help our young visitors feel brave and courageous during their time at the clinic. Leo also visited the children at Great Linford Primary School in Milton Keynes today and will be making a special appearance at the Newport Pagnell Town FC event on 22nd and 23rd June. Keep an eye out for Leo and his busy schedule on The Saxon Clinic's page. It’s great to see the completion of the 'Soothing Haven' room at the The Shelburne Hospital. This space will provide a peaceful environment where the team can unwind. Whether it’s a moment to recharge, meditate, or simply enjoy some quiet time, this space is designed with well-being in mind. Sometimes work can get hectic, and we all need a break from the hustle and bustle so the Senior Management Team hope that this quiet space will give respite from the daily noise, allowing the team to recharge and return to their tasks with renewed focus.

As we celebrate Garden Wildlife Week, we’re delighted to unveil Goring Hall Hospital’s new car park extension. This project, while challenging, has been executed with the utmost respect for our local wildlife and environment. From respecting the breeding season of our resident badgers to obtaining a Natural England Badger Licence, every step was taken with a sustainable future in mind. We’ve introduced wildlife-friendly lighting, a covered bicycle shelter, and both soft and hard landscaping. Thank you to everyone involved in this green and sustainable project! [Images description.
