For the third consecutive year, the House of CHANEL is proud to support the “Miquel Barceló, océanographe” exhibition, a retrospective bringing together some sixty works by the Spanish artist. It will run at the Villa Paloma of the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco from June 7th to October 13th, 2024,. Artist, painter, sculptor and ceramist, Miquel Barceló has made the sea a central theme of his work, drawing inspiration from the caves of Mallorca, his native island, as well as from his travels and encounters on the African continent. The exhibition, which is part of the Principality's ongoing scientific and cultural research into oceanography, takes visitors on a journey from the origins of life to the artist's compositions. Through seascapes and still lifes inherited from the bodegón tradition, Miquel Barceló, océanographe » questions the expression of human presence since Antiquity. The retrospective follows on from the "Santo Sospir, Mauro Restiffe/Jean Cocteau" and "Christian Bérard, Excentrique Bébé" exhibitions.

COMÈTE. THE JEWELRY-INSPIRED EAU DE PARFUM. In 1932, optimism led Gabrielle Chanel to revolutionize the world of jewelry with her unique and legendary “Bijoux de Diamants” collection. The Comète necklace shines at the heart of this constellation. Its shooting star, which nestles in the hollow of the neck, symbolizes the intimate nature of jewelry. An exquisite piece that has now inspired COMÈTE Eau de Parfum, the 19th fragrance in the LES EXCLUSIFS DE CHANEL collection. Luminous and sensual, this fragrant nectar features a cherry blossom accord suffused with notes of heliotrope and powdery iris, for a musky olfactory signature. Discover on https://lnkd.in/eD8MUd7H

A dialogue between Timothée Chalamet's artistic sensibility and Martin Scorsese's virtuosity. BLEU DE CHANEL, the color of a vision that is not held back by any limits. That of a quest for something bigger, something beyond what the eye can see.
