Excess heat from data centres is being turned into Eco-Friendly community warmth! ✨ Data centres use a lot of electricity and produce excess heat, but companies like Google and Amazon are turning that into a positive by repurposing the heat for district heating systems. For instance, Google’s data centre in Finland will soon provide 80% of the community’s winter heating, and Amazon’s project in Dublin is cutting CO2 emissions by 60% by replacing old boilers.
