We are pleased to announce three new brilliant additions to our board of Trustees: Patricia Hidalgo, Helen Thomas and Jo Wallace.   ✨Patricia is Director of Children’s & Education at the BBC and is responsible for developing and implementing creative and editorial strategies for BBC Children’s and BBC Education services.   ✨Helen is Head of BBC Radio 2,working across a range of the BBC’s programming and is also responsible for launching the Chris Evans Drivetime Show and Breakfast Show.   ✨Jo is Senior Commissioning Editor at BBC Entertainment, overseeing a diverse range of content and is also our commissioning lead on the BBC Children in Need Appeal Night of TV. Commenting on the additions, Rosie Millard, Chair of BBC Children in Need, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Patricia, Helen and Jo to our Board of Trustees. Last week, we presented £1 million to The Children's Society as winners of our A Million & Me Award 🏆 Watch the moment Pudsey and Dr Alex George surprised the team to present the award 💛    The Children’s Society, alongside their partners MACS Supporting Children & Young People and Children 1st, will provide targeted and early intervention mental health support to young people all across the four nations. Yesterday our High Value Partnerships team held our annual Partner Day event – an opportunity to bring together our wonderful partners to thank them for their incredible support. It was brilliant to see everybody in person to celebrate what we have achieved together over the past year and to share and discuss ideas on how we can make our 2024 Appeal even more special. We also heard from two incredible BBC Children in Need funded projects about the inspiring work that they do with young people in their community.
