I would love to see this ZTDNS capability on Windows Server, ideally
configurable through Group Policy. I would definitely use it to only
enable access to Windows Update and Microsoft Defender (for Identity and
Endpoint) cloud services on sensitive servers like Domain Controllers.

The Microsoft networking team might want to get up to speed with iperf 2
as well if MSFT customers care about latency and application
responsiveness. Capacity measurements aren't sufficient to qualify a
