I am running TB 138 and still have some issues with the layout and UI. How can I customize the spacing and font size for the "From", "To", "CC" and "Subject" fields? I much prefer the old TB interface where all these fields were much closer in terms of spacing, and the subject line font was same the size as the rest, in bold. Any way to customize this?

Hi, I recently had an office location change and post that in my office laptop, Thunderbird cannot authenticate with outlook and collect mails from it. IT team tried syncing the password from their end, and we tried a million other things like checking server settings in Thunderbird etc, but nothing is working. It just says "connecting to outlook.office365.com...." and is stuck there.

I use Thunderbird to access the old ALT newsgroups for Star Trek content. All of a sudden, messages appear in the top window, but when I select one the content will not appear in the reading pane. Likewise, if I double-click on the message same thing, another window pops up but it is blank.
So far I have uninstalled and reinstalled TB twice. Ran a full Norton system scan

I'm using T'bird on windows 11 to access mail from my Zoho mail account and all of a sudden I'm getting this message: "login to server pop.zoho.com with user name x failed". This happens from time to time and eventually clears.
I get the option to retry or enter new password, if I retry I get this message: "sending of user name did not succeed. Mail server pop.zoho.com responded: user already specified."
Entering a new password doesn't help and the password is saved anyway.
I don't get the "user already specified"?
All the settings are still the same before this happened and T'bird was working and it's up to date.

I installed and set up Thunderbird on my Mac in order to create a backup for a Yahoo/AT&T email account which I may be getting rid of. I used the imap configuration and connected just fine, everything downloaded and I see that the number of messages in my inbox is in the thousands (yes, I'm a person who saves everything in my email, please don't judge). The synchronization and storage are set to synch all messages locally regardless of age and don't delete any messages. However, when I search for old messages in my inbox, it produces no results. When I scroll through the inbox, the oldest message I can see is about 7 months old. There is plenty of storage on the computer. Any advice on how to get access to the older messages and how to make them searchable? Is there a limit to how many messages Thunderbird can display in the inbox? The whole point was to create a searchable backup of everything for when I get rid of the email account. Thanks!
