Manage your notifications

Set when and how you get notified about activity in Waze.

Note: All notifications are turned on by default.

Using Waze in your car? Manage notifications on your phone. The changes will apply when you use Waze in your car. If you're using Android Auto or CarPlay, make sure to disconnect your phone first.

Turn off push notifications

1. Open Waze
2. Tap 
3. Tap Settings
4. Scroll down and tap Notifications
5. Clear the notifications you want to turn off, or clear "Receive all push notifications" to turn off all notifications
   Note: To turn notifications back on again, select the notification you want to turn on or select "Receive all push notifications" to turn on all notifications.
6. Scroll down and tap Save

Turn off email notifications

1. Open Waze
2. Tap 
3. Tap Settings
4. Scroll down and tap Notifications
5. Tap the Email tab
6. Clear the notifications you want to turn off, or clear "Receive all email notifications" to turn off all notifications
   Note: To turn notifications back on again, select the notification you want to turn on or select "Receive all email notifications" to turn on all notifications.
7. Scroll down and tap Save
