Set up your Pixel phone

Switch from an iPhone to a Pixel phone

Copy data from your iPhone to your new Pixel. Connect the two phones with a cable or pair them wirelessly to securely move over your contacts, photos, calendars, and more.

Step 1 of 6

Set up your new Pixel

Important: A Google Account is recommended. Otherwise, you can’t download apps, and some content won’t copy to your new device.

Make sure you have the following:

  • Your fully charged iPhone device with a recent version of iOS software
  • The charging cable for your existing iPhone® device
  • Your new, fully charged Pixel
  • A strong Wi-Fi connection
  • The SIM card tool that came with your Pixel, unless you have an eSIM

If you use a SIM card, before you turn on your device, use a SIM card tool to eject the tray. Then, insert the SIM card.
