Set up accessibility shortcuts

Quickly turn on or switch between accessibility features you want to use on your Pixel phone when you set up unique shortcuts.

  1. Open the Settings app .
  2. Scroll down.
  3. Tap Accessibility.

Select an app that you want to use with a shortcut.

  1. Tap the app’s shortcut menu option.
  2. After you select your options, tap Save.

Tips:

  • After you turn on the shortcut, you can choose whether to access it with the Accessibility button or the volume keys.
  • For more unique shortcut options, tap Advanced. Only some accessibility apps have advanced shortcut options.

The accessibility button appears at the bottom right of your screen. Tap Got it.

Tip: To change settings, tap Accessibility button settings.

To use the accessibility shortcut, tap the Accessibility button. You can also repeat the shortcut action you selected in the previous step.

To turn off the Accessibility app, tap the Accessibility button.

If you chose a different shortcut, like hold volume keys or triple-tap screen, to turn it off, repeat those shortcut steps.

If you have multiple shortcuts on at one time, you’ll find them lined up along the side of your screen.
