Find your IMEI and other Pixel phone ID numbers

To use a mobile network, a phone needs an IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number. To use an eSIM, a phone also needs an EID (Embedded Identity Document) number. When you set up a new SIM, you may need to give your carrier your phone’s IMEI 1, IMEI 2, or EID numbers.

Learn about IMEI 1 & IMEI 2

Pixel phones that can use both eSIM and SIM cards have 2 IMEI numbers, one for each kind of SIM. Learn which Pixel phones use both kinds of SIMs.

If you have 2 IMEI numbers, IMEI 1 is usually paired with the first SIM you set up with your phone. To confirm, check with your mobile carrier.

If you have a Pixel 3a or later Pixel phone, you can use two SIMs: one physical SIM card and one eSIM. You can choose which SIM to use for which action, like messaging or calling. This option is called Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS).
