Use Messages with your Google Account
When you sign in to your Google Account in Messages:
How we protect your data
- In Android Messages, when you create a message from your contacts or to businesses using short codes, it sends from your phone number.
- Signing in to Messages doesn't change who sees your Google Account profile info.
To keep your activity private, we don't automatically store your messages on Google servers.
