About the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the EU privacy legislation that replaced the 95/46/EC Directive on Data Protection of 24 October 1995.

GDPR settings in Looker Studio

If you're subject to GDPR, you must complete all required fields within Looker Studio > User Settings > Account & Privacy to comply with GDPR. Each user within a company that is subject to GDPR must complete the required GDPR fields within Looker Studio. Alternatively, your administrator can accept the data processing terms on behalf of your organization.

Company Name

If you are entering into the Data Processing Amendment on behalf of your company, you must provide a company name. Once you've saved the name, it can't be modified.

Contact details

If you are subject to GDPR, you are required to provide a primary contact within Looker Studio. You can optionally provide contact details for an European Economic Area (EEA) Representative and / or Data Protection Officer. You can provide a single contact to fill all three roles or three distinct contacts.
