Add, edit, or delete payment & address info you saved in Chrome
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, select Profile

- Add, edit, or delete info:
- Add: Next to "Payment methods" or "Addresses," select Add.
- Edit: To the right of the payment method or address, select More
Edit.
- Delete: Next to the payment method or address, select More
Delete.
If you add, edit, or delete an address and you’re signed in to Chrome with your Google Account, your changes show up on your other devices where you’re signed in to Chrome with the same account.
If your payment method is saved in Google Pay, you'll need to edit or delete it in Google Pay.
Nickname your payment method in Chrome
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, select Profile

- Next to "Payment methods," select Add or Edit next to an existing card.
- At the bottom, select Nickname.
- Enter a nickname for your payment method. The nickname appears when you select a form where you use a saved payment method.
Tips:
- If you rename a payment method, it appears when you select a form that uses a saved payment method.
- Chrome's payment method nicknames don't transfer to Google Pay. If you save your payment information in Google Pay, you must update it separately.
Save your payment information in Google Pay
When you’re signed in to Chrome and you enter your payment method into an online form, Chrome may ask if you want to save your payment info in Google Pay. If you accept, your payment information is saved in Google Pay. If Google Pay doesn’t support your payment method, Chrome may offer to save it locally on your device.
Payment methods saved in Google Pay show up as suggestions in most online forms.

- Go to wallet.google.com.
- Click Payment methods.
- Find the payment method you want to edit or delete.
- Edit: Below the payment method, click Edit.
- Delete: Below the payment method, click Remove.
To stop syncing payment info to Google Pay:
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More
Settings.
- Click You and Google
Sync and Google services.
- Under “Sync,” click Manage what you sync.
- Turn off Sync everything.
- Turn off Payment methods and addresses using Google Pay.
If you're signed-in but sync isn't enabled, Chrome may still offer to save your payment info to Google Pay.
When you sign in to your Google Account through a Google service, like Gmail, you’ll be automatically signed in to Chrome. If you don’t want to ever sign in to Chrome, you can turn off Chrome sign-in.
Stop offering to save payment and contact info to Chrome
You can tell Chrome not to save your payment and contact info on your device and not to offer to save your info.
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top, under "People", select Payment methods
or Addresses and more
.
- To stop saving payment info, turn off Save and fill payment methods.
- To stop saving addresses and contact info, turn off Save and fill addresses.
Manage card security codes in Chrome
When you enter your payment information on a merchant site for the first time, you'll be asked if you want to save your security code, in addition to your payment information. Once saved, the security code will be filled in automatically along with your payment information when you make a purchase online.
Turn off saving of security codes

On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click Settings

- Next to Save security codes turn on or off.
Tip: When you turn off this setting, all the saved security codes for all cards will be removed from your Google Account and your devices, and no new security codes will be saved.

- For cards that are stored in your Google Account, you can update your card’s security code in two ways:
- When you make a purchase on any merchant website on Chrome, enter your card information and new security code. Chrome will detect the updated security code, and show you a prompt asking if you want to “Save security code.” Select Save.
- Remove the card from wallet.google.com. Then, use the same card to make a purchase on Chrome. Save the card again when prompted. This time, it will be saved with the security code.
- For cards that are only saved to one of your devices, to update your security code, go to the right of the card, click More

To delete security codes for all cards from your devices and Google Account:

Click Delete saved security codes
Delete.
To delete security codes for cards that are only saved on one of your devices:

Edit.
- Delete the security code.
- Click Save.
If you add, edit, or delete security codes and you’re signed in to Chrome with your Google Account, any change you make will reflect on your other devices where you’re signed in to Chrome with the same account.
Manage “Always verify when using autofill” setting
Important: This is a device-level setting. You must turn it on for each device that you want this setting on.
To prevent others from using your payment info when you share your device, you can turn on verification when you use autofill. With this setting, you can increase your security and protect yourself from fraudulent activities.
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, select Profile

- Turn on Always verify when using autofill.
If the setting is in gray and you can’t turn it on, check if:
- Your device has a screen lock. To use this setting, make sure you set up a screen lock.
- “Save and fill payment methods” is on.
Card benefits on payments autofill
To improve your payment experience, Google works with select partners to showcase card benefit information within autofill. This feature is for informational purpose only and you can visit your payment provider's website for current information and applicable terms and conditions for the card benefits.

I can't find benefit information for one of my cards- On your computer, open Chrome.

- On the left, click Feedback.
- On the "Describe your feedback field," type:

- Provide all the necessary details about your issue or suggestion.
- Add your bank name, card product name, and the date when you added your card to use with Google Pay.
Buy now, pay later is an alternative payment method that allows you to purchase and pay through installments. It’s available when you use Google Pay to make an online purchase with Chrome autofill.
Users can select from various buy now, pay later providers that Google Pay partners with. Financing isn’t offered by Google but is offered through the provider who each have their own requirements.

Turn buy now, pay later in Chrome autofill on & off
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, select Settings

To add or re-add a provider, select a buy now, pay later payment provider when checking out with Chrome autofill at checkout. Complete the steps on the screen to link the selected provider.

To find transactions you’ve completed using buy now, pay later with Google Pay:
- Go to the Google Wallet website.
- At the top left, click Transactions.
- To get more details, select a transaction.

- For older transactions, click View more transactions.
- The most recent transactions appear by default.
- To get more information on a transaction, click the specific payment method used.
Details of your future payment plan like payment dates and amounts will be sent to you by the provider. If you have questions related to future payments, contact the financing provider directly.

If you have issues with Chrome not suggesting your saved info
- To confirm that you’ve saved the info that doesn’t auto populate: Select More

- The website might not be secure enough to get this info from Chrome.
- If the website is secure, Chrome might not detect certain fields in the form.
Delete your saved autofill form info in Chrome
To delete your addresses, payment methods, or other saved info in Chrome at the same time:
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, select More
.
- Select Delete browsing data.
- Choose a time range, like "Last hour" or "All time."
- Under "Advanced," choose Autofill form data.
