Asia’s leading light festival, iLSG 2024, is partnering with Gastrobeats, a celebration of food, music and community that incorporates sustainably sourced food options, and for the first time, The Conscious Festival, an eco-friendly lifestyle event.     Our visitors are about to discover Singapore’s iconic landmarks like never before through Augmented Reality (AR). 🌟 STB is expanding on our partnership with Google to bring location-based AR experiences to Google Maps, with Singapore being only one of the two cities globally chosen for this pilot. Together with over a dozen tourism stakeholders, we are jointly developing AR experiences across 30 places of interest in Singapore, enhancing the way visitors explore our vibrant city. Whether visitors are here in-person or exploring remotely on their couch, these AR features will be helpful for visitors planning their trips and looking to discover new places to visit in Singapore. Some of the places of interests visitors can look forward to exploring on Google Maps include Chinatown, Orchard Road and popular attractions like Gardens by the Bay and Sentosa Sensoryscape. With plans to continue growing the number of location-based AR experiences in Singapore, we have our eyes set on becoming the world’s first “AR City” 😎 Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to transform the future of travel with cutting-edge technology! #PassionMadePossible

This year’s theme, “They Declare”, is an expression of the multiplicity of voices that the Festival welcomes and celebrates.     Fans were treated to a weekend of sporting extravaganza with a thrilling time of putting excellence ⛳ and nail-biting scrums 🏈 LIV Golf Singapore welcomed some of the best players in the world to the Serapong Golf Course, while the top 12 men's and top 12 women's rugby teams took to the National Stadium for the HSBC SVNS Singapore 2024. Singapore will continue to be the strategic location for world-class marquee sporting events and we look forward to bringing more of such events to our sunny shores. With a dazzling array of new experiences and innovative tourism developments, we're set to welcome between 15 to 16.5 million international visitors this year. ✨ ✈️ Today at the annual Tourism Industry Conference (TIC), Minister for Sustainability and the Environment and Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations, Grace Fu and STB Chief Executive Melissa Ow unveiled our roadmap on propelling Singapore’s tourism sector forward through innovation and a pipeline of exciting plans: 🏗️ Launching of new tourism infrastructure in the next few years, such as the Mandai Rainforest Resort in 2025, expansion plans of both Integrated Resorts, the world’s first regional Porsche Experience Centre in 2027, and the development of a world-class wellness attraction along Singapore’s southern coast 🤝 Partnering market leaders including Marina Bay Sands and UOB to amplify destination and brand awareness of the Marina Bay precinct, and Sentosa Development Corporation, DBS Bank and Resorts World Sentosa to cement Sentosa precinct as Asia’s premier island resort getaway and leading lifestyle destination 🔧 Building industry capabilities through initiatives like enhancing the Tourism Sustainability Programme to provide more targeted support and a three-year partnership with NTUC LearningHub (NTUC LHUB) to co-develop and offer courses in key emerging areas such as sustainability and technology 📝 Introducing Tourism 2040 – our visionary strategy to unlock new opportunities and drive quality tourism growth for Singapore.
