    We are pleased to share that Cathay and Singapore Airlines have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on a broad range of sustainability initiatives. Besides advocating for the development and use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) in the Asia-Pacific region, a key driver in achieving the aviation industry’s long-term decarbonisation goals, both carriers will also exchange best practices on sustainable solutions in their operations. This collaboration highlights the dedication of both airlines to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050 and demonstrates a shared commitment towards greater sustainability within the airline industry.     Singapore Airlines (SIA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Riyadh Air | طيران الرياض to establish a new partnership between the two airlines. Under the MoU, SIA and Riyadh Air will explore opportunities for interline connectivity on each other’s services. Both airlines will also work on other potential areas of commercial cooperation, including codeshare arrangements, reciprocal benefits for their frequent flyer programme members, cargo services, customer experience, and digital innovation as a precursor to a deeper, long-term, strategic partnership. These teams are now moving forward to develop proof-of-concept projects with the SIA Group. • Inspiring the Next Generation: We are nurturing young talent by offering internships to students, giving them a chance to bring their innovative ideas to life with the SIA Group or Krislab.     We are proud to announce the official opening of the new SilverKris Lounge at Perth International Airport. This marks a significant milestone in Singapore Airlines’ journey, with over 55 years of service in Perth. Ahead of the resumption of four daily flights next month between Perth to Singapore, eligible passengers can now enjoy an enhanced ground experience before take-off. The newly opened lounge features SIA’s Home Away from Home design concept, offering guests a spacious and welcoming environment. Our lounge is now double in size, and features a live cooking station, a fully tended cocktail bar, and comfortably seats 135 customers. The momentous occasion was inaugurated by Mr Lu Chung Yuan (SIA Acting Senior Vice President Customer Services & Operations), Mr Louis Leonard Arul (SIA Regional Vice President South-West Pacific), His Excellency Anil Kumar Nayar (Singapore High Commissioner to Australia), and Mr Jason Waters (Perth Airport CEO).
