Yes, Supercell is money-hungry. Yes, many of the updates (esp. with the dagger duchess tower) have been annoying. However, Clash Royale has strongly maintained its appeal to me for the better part of 6 or so years. The game's battlepass is easy to progress through. Every match, especially in 2v2, feels completely fresh, given the countless deck combinations from the > 100 unique cards in the game. It's also satisfying (and possible) to outplay higher-leveled or arrogant (toxic) opponents.

Came back to this game after a couple years and it's even more P2W. It doesnt matter how many trophies you have because it doesn't indicate your skill level. I've won against so many people with 2000 trophies more than me in leagues. On top of that there's decks that are direct counters so it's impossible to win in those scenarios unless they add more time to the clock or speed up exlixir game to make for fast-paced gameplay.

I'm a long time player, and it's a good game, but at some point they updated the game so that it bars you (or at least greatly hinders progress) if you are too low level. Why? I have a level 1 account as a challenge account to try to get as high as possible without leveling anything up, and now I can only get ~5 trophies per win after this change. What is the point in this? Please change it back.
