It just works, which is more than I can say for some other fitness bands and associated apps. Garmin Connect has also effortlessly sync'd both ways with companion apps like Strava and Runna. It's also nice that all the metrics are included without needing an additional subscription. -- The navigation feature works surprisingly well for running and/or biking a route for the first. The little map on the watch and audio cues make it very easy to identify the turns. 👍👍

The most recent update was a big step backwards on ease of use. Everything I needed used to be just listed in easy horizontal rows. Now some things are "in focus" others aren't but you're capped at 8 items. If you want to look at something other than those 8 things then you have to dig around through menus. The "last 7 days" and "yesterday" summary used to show a whole list of things now it is cut down and is much shorter so is missing many of the things I want to review at a glance.

Raising from 1 star to 2 because the recent software update fixed my issue of it running in the background. However, the new UI is still bad, as others have said. Less information viewable at a glance despite the new "at a glance" feature, tons of dead space, side to side viewing instead of scroll. Less customizable, and just generally a downgrade from the previous look. Please, Garmin, put it back!
