It works when it wants to at best. The rest of the time, even one press of the controls causes the screen to fly across the selection and never end up where you want to and lags so much. I should just get a physical replacement tbh. I thought this would save me the $ but it's just not worth it unless it's the last resort until the package arrives unless they update this app....

It kind of does what it claims, it's fine in a pinch. But the frequent lag and random constant disconnections can make using this app extremely frustrating. It's not uncommon to fast forward or rewind too far because you can't stop it due to lag or a disconnect, or accidentally back all the way out of an app because you think you missed hitting the back button when really there was like 5 seconds of lag. Again, fine in a pinch if your remote dies or something, but not really a permanent solution

update: 5 years later and it still sucks. Works properly 10% of the time. Disconnects constantly. Especially irritating when fastforwarding or rewinding and you cant stop it until you reconnect again...every time. It is not my internet provider, and all of my other apps and devices have no issues. Not a great app. Currently it is no longer recognizingg my fire stick, and I have re-signed in and rebooted both several times.
