The celebration highlighted Rederiet Stenersen’s 50th anniversary and their decades-long successful partnership with OSM Thome, emphasizing the strong collaboration between the two organizations. The event showcased their mutual trust and shared goals. It also expressed OSM Thome Foundation’s appreciation for Stenersen’s sponsorship of two scholars and support for the Center for Learning. Additionally, Stenersen's commitment extended to distributing school bags to the partner community in San Vicente, Northern Samar, further solidifying their dedication to educational and community development. The event was led by Rederiet Stenersen AS representatives John R. Stenersen, Director for Ship Management and Dan Skjoldal, Head of HR Sea/Shore and Shared Services. The event brought together attendees, comprising of OSM Thome leadership, frontline crew members, representatives from various departments, and OSM Thome cadets undergoing pre-sea training. Frontline Management AS owners joined and addressed our seafarers during the conference, sharing valuable industry insights and discussing emerging trends. Participants engaged in informative sessions on topics such as SIRE 2.0 & PSC, Fleet Incident Learnings, Maritime Security, Environmental Compliance, and more. Additionally, attendees benefited from collaborative workshops and a social gala night, all designed to enhance their knowledge and strengthen their professional relationships within the maritime community. By empowering our crew with the tools and resources they need to succeed, we enhance their professional capabilities and contribute to the overall excellence of our maritime operations.
