MSI 24 — Event identity - Really excited to share a preview of our latest project with Riot Games. League of Legends (LoL) is a multiplayer online video game played by millions around the globe. League of Legends Esports (LoL Esports) is the pinnacle of competitive gaming, attracting the attention of millions of fans since 2010. LoL Esports also hosts two international tournaments per year, the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) and the League of Legends World Championship (Worlds). MSI marks the halfway point through this competitive season and brings 12 international teams together in a test of regional strength. We sought to create an all-encompassing design package for MSI 24 in Chengdu, China, for the millions of fans who tune into the sport. Through the collaboration, we experimented with Google Sans Flex to craft a curated selection of notable highlights, to push the boundaries of its design.
