“When I'm DJing I always ask myself the same questions,” says LA producer Alex Chapman. “Are people partying? Are people smiling? Does it feel gay? I think this mix checks those boxes.” The Today’s Hits DJ mix captures the world’s biggest songs in one continuous set, and this month's edition, which coincides with Pride, features some of Chapman’s favourite queer anthems, like Charli xcx’s “Von dutch”. “I’m loving Charli’s new era,” he says. “She just knows how to be referential and entirely fresh at the same time. I played ‘Von dutch’ on tour earlier this year and it made the crowd go feral.” He also includes his collaboration with Uffie called “Stay the Weekend”. To him, it screams summer: “When I hear it, I see Speedos, bikinis and frozen drinks. I’m hoping it becomes a gaycation anthem.”
