A recording artist since he was 14, USHER has tried on plenty of stylistic cloaks. His soulful vocals have been set to work on streetwise hip-hop beats (the Jermaine Dupri–featuring “Come Back”), tender ballads (“Dive”) and confessional explorations of manhood (both “Mind of a Man” and “What's a Man to Do” examine male fidelity and fracturing relationships). On “Good Ol' Ghetto”, he revisits the “good old days” over a throwback funky guitar.
