#OnRepeat

Hip-hop and R&B offer some of the most fluid, dynamic sounds today, true barometers for where the culture is at and where it’s going. This week, headlining #OnRepeat—a playlist chock-full of the hottest new songs we can’t seem to stop playing—is Don Toliver and Kodak Black’s “BROTHER STONE”, which appears on Toliver’s recently released album HARDSTONE PSYCHO. Kodak Black has been Cactus Jack-affiliated since his first Travis Scott collaboration, 2018’s “ZEZE”, but he and Toliver are locked in across “BROTHER STONE”, a song where Kodak uses the chorus to remind us that he has too much jewellery to wear all at once and Toliver raps that he’s got the “Glockie clipped to the hip just like a goddamn beeper.” Listen to it on #OnRepeat, and if you hear something you like, add it to your library.
