One of the coolest things about Vine is how quickly content blows up and reaches a massive audience. We see this with individual posts, as well as trends.
We also see this with sounds. Just as videos go viral on the web, sounds go viral on Vine.
Starting today, you can add sounds to your Vines directly within our iOS app. Choose from a selection of recognizable sounds from popular trends, like LeBron James, why you always lyin, freshavocado and more, or record and use your own.
If you have an iPhone, try it out! After you record a Vine and get to the Details screen (where you can add a caption, edit your post, and more), you’ll see a new soundwave icon at the bottom of the app. Tap that to open up our new soundboard. Then you can listen to a bunch of sounds and choose the ones you want to use, or record a new one. (Check out our Help Center for more info).
We will be adding more sounds in the future so check back — maybe yours will be featured! We can’t wait to *hear* what you make.
