Severe Thunderstorm Warnings and Tornado Alerts Issued for Western Pennsylvania

A tornado has been confirmed in southern Allegheny and northern Washington counties, with reports of damage including a roof blowing off a church in Union Township, Washington County. Tornado warnings in several counties have expired. Severe thunderstorm warnings are in effect in Greene, Fayette, and Washington counties until 8 p.m., and in Westmoreland County until 7:30 p.m. The storm has a history of producing funnel clouds, hail, and winds up to 60 mph.
