Ohio police shoot and kill Amazon warehouse guard who allegedly attempted to kill supervisor, authorities report

A security guard trainee at an Amazon warehouse in Ohio was fatally shot by police after attempting to shoot his supervisor and later shooting an officer, who was saved by his bulletproof vest. The initial shooting was captured on surveillance footage and occurred at the warehouse in West Jefferson. The trainee, Ali Hamsa Yusuf, fled the building but was later spotted and shot by police in Columbus. Despite being hit by bullets, the Columbus officer was not seriously injured. Yusuf, who was not supposed to have a gun on duty, had no known criminal history, and the reason for the attempted shooting is unclear.
