Hiker reported missing in the White Mountains found deceased

The body of missing hiker William Donovan, 65, from Cambridge, Massachusetts, was found in the White Mountains by New Hampshire Fish and Game after being reported missing on April 16. His body was discovered in the Dry River in Cutts Grant, 400 feet upstream from where his jacket was found. Due to the challenging terrain, additional resources were called to assist in carrying out his body. It is believed that Donovan was forced off the ridge between Mount Monroe and Mount Eisenhower by high winds or bad weather. His body was taken for autopsy, with various search and rescue teams involved in the operation.
