A man suspected of firing multiple gunshots at an Amazon fulfillment center in Madison County, Ohio, died after a confrontation with Columbus police. The incident occurred on Sunday at around 4:45 p.m. when the man, an employee at the facility, left the scene. He was later located by officers and fired at least one shot that struck a Columbus police officer. The suspected shooter was taken to Doctors West Hospital in critical condition and later succumbed to his injuries. No injuries were reported at Amazon. The officer who was shot is stable.
