Tarek Kandakji is a researcher with a Ph.D. in Geosciences and demonstrated track record in conducting research in multi-disciplinary environments such as international NGOs and universities. Tarek’s areas of expertise include environmental science, earth science, ecology, atmosphere, air quality, water quality, geomorphology, hydrology, environmental health, land management, and land conservation. Tarek is currently a Remote Sensing Specialist and Manager of Yale Center for Earth Observation at Yale School of the Environment
Nadia B. Ahmad, Associate Professor at Barry University School of Law, Founder at Mudder AI, PhD student at the Yale School of the Environment, and Women Techmakers Ambassador
Nadia B. Ahmad is an Associate Professor at Barry University School of Law, teaching Environmental Law, Energy Law, Property, and Business Organizations. Her pathbreaking research on "climate cages" examines climate policy and incarceration, arguing that policy responses to the climate crisis lead to arrest, detention, imprisonment, land displacement, job loss, and death instead of solutions.
Philippa Burgess, University of Southern California Spatial Sciences Graduate Student and Women Techmakers Ambassador
Philippa Burgess is a M.S. student in Human Security and Geospatial Intelligence (HSGI) at USC Spatial Sciences Institute where she also received a GIST Certificate. She completed her M.A. in Urban Planning from USC Price School of Public Policy in 2022. She holds a B.A. in International Relations with a Minor in Cinema-Television from USC.

Zunaida Moosa Wadiwala, is an admitted Attorney, Conveyancer & Notary of the High Court of South Africa. She is currently pursuing her LLM Degree by Dissertation in Transnational Climate Litigation at the University of the Witwatersrand, School of Law where she works as a Assistant Lecturer.
