Bored Panda

Last Saturday, we joined forces with 24 other startups and planted 9 169 trees, creating a brand new "Unicorn Forest" in Lithuania. Bored Panda itself contributed 530 trees (one from every employee) to the initiative. Throughout its lifetime, this forest will absorb 1 815 tons of CO2, making a real difference in our environment. Huge thanks to Unicorns Lithuania and VŠĮ Myliu mišką for their guidance and support throughout the day. We can't wait to watch this forest flourish! 🐼

Today's a special day in our headquarters! For the first time, Lithuania is celebrating Children's Day on the third Friday of May, a new tradition reflecting our country’s commitment to safe and happy childhoods for kids 🇱🇹 In that spirit, we’ve just made a €10,000 donation to VšĮ „Savanoriai vaikams“, an NGO that supports lonely children in hospitals, many from foster homes or difficult family situations. Their initiative relies on over 200 volunteers. Our donation will help them spend 1429 quality hours with children, ensuring everyone receives the care and attention they deserve. We're passionate about pets at Bored Panda, so much so that one of our offices dedicated a whole month to a charitable initiative to support a local animal shelter. Our approach was simple yet sustainable: we ran a second-hand clothing swap in April, raising €1440 for animals in need of kindness. A special shoutout to our friends at VšĮ "SOS gyvūnai" for their tireless work in caring for these precious creatures! Happy World Health Day! We'd like to share the exciting results of our recent Vitamin D initiative. We tested the vitamin D levels of 128 employees and found that a majority were deficient. To address this, we offered free vitamin D supplements for the past two months, followed by a second blood test. After taking the supplements at least four times a week for around 60 days, their vitamin D levels jumped an impressive 65%, transitioning from deficiency to a healthy, optimal level. 🚀 Even better, employee feedback showed a real positive impact: 🐼 43% reported increased energy 🐼 28% experienced improved mood 🐼 20% enjoyed better sleep 🐼 9% felt a stronger immune system #WeAreBoredPanda #WorldHealthDay #VitaminD #EmployeeWellness

Last January, we kicked the year off with our annual New Year celebration, spotlighting Bored Panda's standout moments in 2023. Check it out: 🐼 Our videos hit a whopping 49B views on Facebook alone—that's 6x the world population! 🐼 Boredpanda.com had 1.4B pageviews. 🐼 Gotcha's videos on YouTube reached 2.3B views and took the #1 spot worldwide in the video category. 🐼We launched a new kids' animation series on YouTube, which already got 12M views and 40K+ subscribers. 🐼 We launched another YouTube channel, Secret Diaries, amassing nearly 200K subscribers and over 30M total views in less than a year. 🐼 Our teams welcomed 180 new talented pandas from 12 countries. 🐼 We donated 111K EUR to various NGOs, spreading care and sharing our success with those in need. Most notably, we allocated 101K EUR to purchase an ambulance car for emergency transfers of preterm babies in Lithuania. But the fight with boredom is not over.
