Vendor Management Specialist

We are looking for a vendor management specialist who thrives and can make an impact in a fast-paced and ever changing environment. You’re a great coordinator, love taking ownership and enjoy improving processes!


Your Opportunity

  • You’ll be our first vendor management specialist so there is a lot of room to further scope your role!

  • You’ll work on a broad range of topics, such as supplier relations, supplier performance, contract management, supplier on- and off boarding, third party risk management, our third party register, including ownership of the systems we use for these processes. You’ll learn a lot!     

  • There is a great opportunity to streamline and automate processes.

  • You’ll report directly into our Procurement Lead.

  • You’ll be part of a broader Finance team and a company with a great energetic atmosphere and many opportunities to socialize with your colleagues. 


What you’ll be doing

  • Operational Ownership of Supplier Tooling & Procurement processes

  • Manage & improve our onboarding/offboarding processes for external suppliers;

  • Monitor supplier performance metrics;

  • Managing the supplier performance review processes;

  • Monitor Contract Lifecycle & Renewals; 

  • Streamline and where possible automate our supplier management processes;

  • Coordinate projects that relate to supplier management; 

  • Promote awareness on best practices for Supplier Management. 


Third Party Risk Management

  • Maintain Mollie’s Third Party Register, ensuring ongoing data accuracy and completeness; 

  • Implement and maintain a Register of Information (as part of the new EU DORA requirements);

  • Coordinate our third party risk management processes and work closely with our Risk and Compliance teams on regulatory requirements around this topic. 


Collaboration with Business Stakeholders

  • Supporting the Procurement Team in upcoming renewals and targeting sourcing project timelines;

  • Work closely with our planning & analysis team on forecasting at supplier level;

  • Work closely with Legal, Compliance & Risk on effective supplier management;

  • Create awareness within the company about supplier management responsibilities in a proactive and engaging manner;

  • You’ll work with a broad range of stakeholders ranging from junior to senior ones within the company. 


What you'll bring

  • Around 3-5 years of relevant work experience, ideally in vendor management;

  • Strong analytical skills;

  • Bachelor degree, preferably in a business or finance discipline.

  • Strong project management skills;

  • Hands on, a do-er and a strong sense of ownership;

  • Experience (or affinity) with risk-related topics on supplier management; 

  • Eager to learn and proactively picking up new things;

  • Embracing change, curious to what lies beyond.
