We are looking for a Business Manager who is passionate about app content, business models and services and can proactively seek and identify opportunities for business growth in the app ecosystem. You will continuously work with multi-functional teams to lead the strategy for the team and the solution for the app developers. Strategic mindset, deep understanding of app market and business model are required skills.

Description

- The Business Manager is responsible for guiding App Developers in their business growth and success in the App Store ecosystem by providing the latest tools, policy updates, and new feature information. - Working across multi-functional teams, both locally and internationally, you will need to achieve the goal as a team. - The primary Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for this role is business growth in terms of billings and defining the business opportunities in the market and leading the App Developers in that direction together.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years+ experiences in mobile app, contents or contents platform business.
  • Strong background in developing business opportunities in either/both Game or Entertainment industries.
  • Confident in communication and negotiation with external partners, possibly executive levels
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills to articulate strong viewpoints clearly, concisely, and logically in both Japanese and English.
  • Outstanding teamwork skills to collaborate closely with various teams for successful cross-functional initiatives, including other business management, data analytics, monetization, editorial, marketing, and creative production.
  • Passion and deep curiosity about the app ecosystem with fluency in standard business models and a detailed understanding of the local landscape.
  • Flexible mindset to shift the gear in multiple initiatives and managing ambiguities in any circumstances
