A Police Executive Research Forum survey indicated that between 2020 and 2021, the law enforcement resignation and retirement rates increased by 18% and 45%, respectively. Four of the largest metropolitan police departments in the US are collectively down over 5,400 officers during 2022 and 2023. Further, law enforcement is experiencing a drastic decrease in the number of recruits — 27% to 60%, depending on the area. Recruitment & retention is the #1 issue in Law Enforcement globally. In this environment automation is no longer a nice to have - it is essential. That is why we are so excited about Siren 14.2. Siren 14.2 uses AI to generate investigations for the analyst & investigating officers. It can easily take over 90% of the effort out of a traditionally laborious & manual process. All with control and oversight retained by the sworn officer. Some of our team are ex-law enforcement officers and have a huge appreciation for how making the job less bureaucratic and more rewarding will have a massive impact of officer retention. This is a very rewarding mission for them in particular - seeing how we are changing officer workflow for the better.
