At Reddit, the safety of our users is one of our highest priorities. Phil Aquilina, a Staff Engineer on the Community Safety team joins us to talk about scaling safety tools. His team recently had a big win with the release of the Post Guidance feature, which warns users they may be violating a community’s rules before they hit post. What an amazing and special afternoon! 🧡 As a proud member of Women of Reddit, Inc. — a community that helps women at Reddit thrive both personally and professionally — supporting women in the workplace is something I'm very passionate about. It was a privilege to bring some of the many remarkable women in Reddit's client family together today for lunch to connect, unite, and empower one another at the beautiful Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits at the Park. We shared stories about the workplace, tips on how to recharge your battery, and our guest speaker, Sharon Epskamp guided us through a mini masterclass on redefining balance in the workspace. I am incredibly grateful to work with all our amazing female clients, which makes my job more fun and inspiring every day. Special shoutout to all the clients who showed up with incredible energy and my kickass lady boss Susanne Mostertman for joining the lunch and sharing her three life hacks for being a woman and mother in tech. #womenintech #reddit #redefiningenergy

Every day, people turn to online communities like those found on Reddit to solve problems, fuel passions, and make informed decisions. This creates an environment rich in consumer insights and valuable behavioral signals. But how can businesses identify and action these insights in their marketing plans? And how can brands successfully participate to drive meaningful engagement with their audiences? From r/AskReddit to r/AITA, Reddit’s communities make up one of the largest open archives of human experiences and are an invaluable resource for brands. Join Reddit's CEO Steve Huffman on the main stage at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity as he discusses how businesses can tap into these online spaces to learn what people think, spot trends, test ideas, and participate in discussions that drive growth.
