Old pinned post here
I'm currently homeless and Paypal won't let me access any of the money that's on there (which is thankfully only about $20). Please, if you can spare anything that could help me survive until I can make it to the UK to live with my fiancée, I would be eternally grateful. I'm currently applying to jobs to try and support myself but I'm multiply disabled and queer so that makes things difficult.
I'm going to lose my current shelter by the 30th of April, 2024. If you're reading this after that and I haven't posted in a while, I'm probably just busy trying to survive.
Even if you can't donate, reblogs are very welcome!

If you wanna keep up with how I'm doing or hear my story so far, the #byrd's business tag on my blog should have just about everything.
I offer a free Tumblr Tip: If you hold the W key and hover over the reblog button, you can quick queue posts to any of your blogs as many times as you'd like by clicking on the icons that pop up! Got a post that you'd like to see hit 10k? Queue that bugger up and it'll keep circulating long after you've forgotten about it!
Good news - I’m now on a waiting list for one transitional housing program and in a drawing for another one! Bad news - it could take up to two weeks (possibly longer) for the first one to have a bed ready for me to come in.
I’m making arrangements for a friend to hold onto some of my things while i stay in a motel, but I could really use some money to cover the cost of the motel and transportation (as I may need to go out to pick things up as opposed to getting them delivered to the motel).
I’m not sure how much exactly all of this will cost but I’ll try and run some numbers tomorrow. For now, I think a goal of $150 should cover at least a week’s worth of Lyft rides, assuming nothing crazy happens.
0/$150
Full disclosure, my fantastic fiancee is also helping cover costs, but she’s just finished up saving enough money for me to move in with her, and we really don’t want to eat into those savings until the time comes. Even with the money she’s making, between helping me with groceries and miscellaneous expenses not covered by food stamps, money is really, really tight.
Just covering any potential Lyft rides I may need to take would give us some room to breathe, and I certainly won’t turn down any extra cash for other expenses, too.
Again, if you can’t donate, reblogs are always welcome!
