Pride Month Spotlight: Scott Major
We’re celebrating Pride month spotlighting some LGBTQIA+ gaming streamers! Our first spotlight is with Scottish content creator, Scott Major. Scott runs a gaming channel where he plays a variety of family-friendly games like Sims 4 or Minecraft. Scott is an inspiration for many young people who are struggling with their own sexual identities within the gaming community and beyond.
How would you describe yourself in 2 - 3 sentences?
Oh god, this is like when you have to describe yourself for a job application or a dating profile! I’d say I’m kind, optimistic, and full of fun! My number one goal in life is to make people at least a little bit happier, and If I can do that through my job, then perfect!

I hadn’t till now, and upon a quick search, I think its something I could easily spend hours scrolling through! *adds to bookmarks*
How do you feel about LGBTQIA+ representation in video games?
I feel like it has come such a long way since I was younger, but we still have a long way to go! Overwatch is doing a fantastic job of having characters sexuality be a part of them, rather than their entire brand, which is the correct way to do it!
What does Pride mean to you?
Pride to me means, being able to be your true, authentic self, without caring what other people think!
How can allies continue to support the LGBTQIA+ community?
The best way to support the LGBTQ+ community is to normalize it! I’d love to live in a world where kids don’t need to “come out,” they simply have a boyfriend or a girlfriend. Love is love, and its no one else’s business! Just be kind to people!
