Cinema how far are we from Cinema Vérité and where is cinema really going? I wonder 🤔 more and more as AI and VR and everything is changing we seem to want more and more reality shows it films still with some Fictional films and Entertainment on the side but people are consuming a huge amount of Reality Shows and TikTok is in fact a live reality show never ending for any subject or type of interesting subject you may have.
Maybe that is the algorithm, there is none but matching those that like something with those producing it, content creators that are successful are matching their creations to the subject matters people like and TikTok is amplifying it by pushing the promotional algorithms to emphasize the content that generally generate the most views so they can target and analyze people data with advertising and monetize it.
So besides political spying, and I think everyone does that (I have no point of view on that), for pure capitalist gain or monetary gain if people choose to be brain washed by watching whatever they like it is their choices. So I think it is the genius of TikTok to have understood that and delivered it somehow.
But since I also know that they censored several of my contents and other creators Contents I believe that this is not allowed in a free speech country and that it is maybe their Chinese creator that are controlling the data and content flow.
Either way Creators.have to find multiple channels to deliver their contents and it is very complex for viewers and consumers to really get what they want still.
I believe there is still room for better customization and for some reason I do not believe AI will deliver it or for that matter any platform will unless they are built differently.
Google, YouTube, Facebook, Amazon, Yahoo, Twitter Instagram and all Social Media are still searching for that perfect solution.
I am curious to find out what viewers and creators could come up with in an unbiased environment where you could have total freedom of consumption or creation of content with the ability to access everything and having your custom algorithm choose 99 percent of what you like without any bias at all.
I do not believe that that world exists yet, even with the promises of Crypto and the Blockchain, there is not really a complete decentralized system.
I guess what we can hope for is to get closer than we are now without losing our humanity or being robbed of it by AI or big data companies seeking to make money off of us and control us.
So as Cinema Vérité started as a pure experience it has become what? that is my question??? Kurosawa's success or the height of Cinema Vérité was long ago and what we have now is far from being true Cinema Vérité.
I call my cinema "Real or Reel Cinema" I guess you will have to experience it when it comes out
It has not been released yet unless you are one of the few I shared part of my ideas. But I have explained the documentary film process but never Real Cinema.

Writing about Gradi di vuoto, on view at Viasaterna, Milano
"Gradi di vuoto rather than an organised arrangement of the works of the artists in the exhibition, is a spatialisation of various points of view. The group show explores the role of emptiness. It reasons about the space/non-space that the works occupy and the interstices between voids and solids."

Today is an important day. D-Day, the largest land, sea, and air invasion ever attempted, happened on June 6, 1944 – 79 years ago. Its impact resonates today.
The Normandy landings were the landing operations and associated airborne operations on Tuesday, 6 June 1944 of the Allied invasion of Normandy in Operation Overlord during World War II.
Codenamed Operation Neptune and often referred to as D-Day, it was the largest seaborne invasion in history. The operation began the liberation of France (and later Western Europe) and laid the foundations of the Allied victory on the Western Front.

Art and Technology
In recent years, virtual exhibitions have become increasingly popular among artists. These exhibitions use new technologies to create immersive experiences that can be enjoyed by anyone, anywhere. In fact, virtual exhibitions help us artists to make our works known to a global audience in an easy and efficient way.
Technology is transforming the way people encounter art and virtual exhibitions represent a great opportunity to reach a wider audience. With the ability to virtualize works and buy them from anywhere in the world, we can create a form of expression that has no geographical boundaries.
But what are virtual exhibitions really and how do they work? Essentially, virtual exhibitions use technology to create an immersive environment in which viewers can choose their own artistic experience. This is achieved through technologies such as virtual and augmented reality, which allow viewers to interact with the works displayed in a completely new and exciting way.
In addition, virtual exhibitions offer visitors greater flexibility than traditional physical exhibitions. In fact, the audience can enjoy these exhibitions anytime and from anywhere. There is no need to schedule a trip or spend money to travel to a particular location. All of this means that virtual exhibitions represent a form of democratization of art, making it accessible to everyone without physical or economic barriers.
In a world where technology is constantly evolving, virtual exhibitions will increasingly be present in our lives. Virtual exhibitions therefore represent a great opportunity for art to expand and become increasingly inclusive and accessible to all.

This is one of those beautiful AI object re-presentation virtual synthesis productions. I would love to see this type of AI synthesis use cut and paste collage processing with students in an early 2nd year architectural studio environment in an educational sensibility. Again being studio focused as a methodology of processing and production rather than a be all and end all limitation. Having used collage and poetics methods in University Architectural Studios to create synthetic perspectives, sections and plans AI now seems to offer up further iterative develop-mentation and drawing in layers that might allow new stories and un-realised poetic dimensions for distorting the spatiotemporal rational world - yey!
